On the second Saturday of month (June 13th, July 11th, August 8th ), we will be partnering with Galvanized Music Studio’s (a neighborhood music producer) to provide live music from 5-8pm in Lakehurst Park. After that we will be doing a movie from 8-10pm. There will be a food truck at each event. There will be free face painting (tips appreciated), yard games, and foam pit for the kids. Please join us to support the 2nd Annual Summer Concert Series, it’s sure to become a summertime tradition for our neighborhood. This is a family friendly community event, so bring your friends and family and enjoy our amazing community and park!
Parking:
Parking is limited around Lakehurst Park, if you live in the neighborhood please try to walk or ride a bike. If you are driving from outside of the neighborhood, consider parking at Harriman Lake Park and walk or bike along the lake path to the park. It is a little over 1/4 mi, and is a beautiful way to start/end your evening. Please be respectful of neighbors and watch for pedestrians.
Food:
There will be food trucks available for purchasing food at the event. Another option is to picnic or BBQ before. What ever you choose, we ask that you are respectful of our beautiful park and please help us clean up after your done. It is very important that we leave the park in the same condition that we found it, and we appreciate you applying “Leave No Trace” principles with this event. “Pack it in, Pack it out”
