With all the extra traffic in the neighborhood we ask that you be careful and aware\, not all the people who will be around will watch for our kids the way our neighbors do.

DESCRIPTION:June 13th 2026: Second Saturday Concert and Movie\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOn the second Saturday of month (June 13th\, July 11th\, August 8th )\, we will be partnering with Galvanized Music Studio’s (a neighborhood music producer) to provide live music from 5-8pm in Lakehurst Park. After that we will be doing a movie from 8-10pm. There will be a food truck at each event. There will be free face painting (tips appreciated)\, yard games\, and foam pit for the kids. Please join us to support the 2nd Annual Summer Concert Series\, it’s sure to become a summertime tradition for our neighborhood. This is a family friendly community event\, so bring your friends and family and enjoy our amazing community and park! \nParking: \nParking is limited around Lakehurst Park\, if you live in the neighborhood please try to walk or ride a bike. If you are driving from outside of the neighborhood\, consider parking at Harriman Lake Park and walk or bike along the lake path to the park. It is a little over 1/4 mi\, and is a beautiful way to start/end your evening. Please be respectful of neighbors and watch for pedestrians. \nFood:\nThere will be food trucks available for purchasing food at the event. Another option is to picnic or BBQ before. What ever you choose\, we ask that you are respectful of our beautiful park and please help us clean up after your done. It is very important that we leave the park in the same condition that we found it\, and we appreciate you applying “Leave No Trace” principles with this event. “Pack it in\, Pack it out” \nWeather:\nPlease check this website for updates on the event if the weather looks questionable. We all know Colorado can be unpredictable in the summer\, but we will try our best to keep you up to date as things change. DESCRIPTION:LWNA will be hosting a National Night Out (NNO) event to help build a police and community partnership with our local Jefferson County Sheriff’s. The event will be at the Surrey Playground in Lakehurst Park. There will be a crime prevention deputy and possibly a fire truck from West Metro. LWNA will provide snacks and water. The goal of this event is to encourage the police/community partnership and support community based policing. Please bring your kids and family and join us for this great event!
